Amazing!
Although it lost out to Mad Men for Best Drama Series on Sunday, the episode of True Blood that aired against the Emmys hit a new ratings high for the show, bringing in 5.4 million viewers.
It even added another 1.2 million during the 11:30pm encore.
People love their vamps!

Not a great one, but they held their own.
The numbers are in and it looks like 13.5 million peeps tuned in to watch the Emmys telecast last night.
If you were wondering, that is only slightly up from the 13.3 people who tuned in last year.
Congrats, NBC! You finally aired something people tuned in for!

An oxygen tank malfunction may have possibly contributed to the death of Martin Short’s wife Nancy Dolman.
